Download Images for Your Project
Once you've selected the right image, download the version that matches how you plan to use it.
Whether you're creating a website, presentation, brochure, factsheet, or social post, the Media Library offers multiple download options, so you get the right image, in the right format, without manually editing it.
- Website / destination page — Recommended option: Resize — Why: Avoid heavy original files; optimize for page loading.
- Printed brochure — Recommended option: Original — Why: Preserve quality for professional design and print.
- Proposal (PDF/PowerPoint) — Recommended option: Resize — Why: Keep quality good while avoiding oversized files.
- Social media post — Recommended option: Download preset (or Crop if no preset fits) — Why: Use channel-appropriate dimensions and strong composition.
- Email attachment — Recommended option: Compress — Why: Reduce file size for easier sharing.
- Website banner — Recommended option: Crop, then Resize/Compress if needed — Why: Prioritize composition and format together.

Once you've selected the right image, download the version that matches how you plan to use it. A brochure, website banner, proposal PDF, and Instagram post may all need different image sizes or formats — this article walks you through the download workflow.
Before you begin
Before downloading an image, make sure that:
- You're signed in to the Media Library.
- You've selected the correct asset.
- You've reviewed the image in Asset Preview.
Choose the right file before you start As a quick rule: use Original for print, and use a preset or resize for digital channels. The next article, Choose the Right Download Option, covers each option in detail.
Download an image
- Open an asset.
- Select Download.
- Choose your file type from the dropdown.
- Select Download.

Available download options
Depending on the asset, you may see:
- Original
- Crop
- Resize
- Compress
- Resize, Crop, and Compress
- Crop, Resize, and Compress
- Download Presets
Important: Downloading a customized version never modifies the original asset stored in the Media Library — it's always safe to experiment with different formats.
Marketing Tip: Before you publish, double-check that the file you downloaded actually matches your channel — an oversized original for a website slows page load time, while a compressed file in a print brochure can look blurry.
