Refine Your Results with Filters

Filters help you move from a broad search to a focused selection — turning "I need images for Thailand" into the exact set of visuals that fits your website page, proposal or social campaign.

Overview

Filters help you move from a broad search to a focused selection — turning "I need images for Thailand" into the exact set of visuals that fits your website page, proposal or social campaign.

Apply filters

After searching, open the Filters panel to narrow your results. Depending on the available metadata, you may be able to filter by:

  • Destination
  • Brand
  • Segment
  • Content type
  • Content setting
  • Other available metadata

Search vs. filters

Search finds possibilities; filters reduce them to the best fit. For example, after searching "Vietnam," you can filter by content type, destination or theme to land on visuals that match a website page, proposal or social campaign.

When should you use filters?

Filters are most useful when:

  • Your search returns too many results.
  • You want to browse a particular content type.
  • You need to quickly reduce a large result set to the images that suit your project.

Caution: Don't over-filter too early — stacking too many filters at once can hide useful images. Start broad, then narrow.

A typical workflow

Search → Review results → Apply filters → Open Asset Preview → Download

Common mistakes

  • Searching with only one broad keyword and stopping there.
  • Starting a new search instead of filtering the current results.

Pro Tip: If you have a strong set of results, filtering is usually faster than starting over with a new search. [Insert screenshot: Filtered results]

Marketing Tip: For a multi-image project like a brochure or proposal, filter by destination first, then by content type — it's the fastest way to build a shortlist covering hero shots, details and lifestyle images.
