Credit the Right Owner: Copyright & Attribution
Some images require a property or photographer credit when published.
Overview
Some images require a property or photographer credit when published. This article explains when attribution is required and how to include it in websites, brochures, proposals, social posts and other marketing materials.
Copyright: Easia Travel
Images with Terms & Conditions "Easia Travel – Marketing Use Allowed" and Copyright "Easia Travel" may be used for approved marketing, communication, and promotional activities related to Easia Travel and its partners. No attribution is normally required.
Copyright: Partner
If the copyright owner is a hotel, destination management organization, or another partner, that organization owns the image. Use it only in accordance with its Terms & Conditions, and include the requested property or photographer credit whenever the image is published.
Copyright: Photographer
The named photographer owns the image. Follow the licensing instructions shown with the asset, and include attribution or obtain permission whenever required.
Sample attribution formats
- "Image courtesy of [Partner name]"
Where to place credits
Attribution can typically appear in a website image caption, a page or document footer, a dedicated image credits page, or a social media caption — wherever it will clearly stay attached to the image or its immediate context.

Best practices
- Review the Terms & Conditions before publishing.
- Include attribution whenever required — cropping or resizing an image does not exempt you from that obligation.
- Common mistake to avoid: publishing a partner-owned image without the required credit.
Pro Tip: When in doubt, follow the asset's metadata — it's the fastest way to confirm exactly what's required before you publish. [Insert screenshot: Asset metadata showing copyright and attribution fields]
